- Soil Preparation: Use a well-draining, rich potting mix or loamy garden soil. Celosia hates waterlogged soil.
- Sowing: Sow the tiny seeds shallowly (about 1/8 inch deep) or gently press them onto the moist soil surface, as they need light to germinate.
- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy during the germination period. Mist gently using a spray bottle.
- Germination: Seeds will typically begin to sprout within 7 to 14 days when kept in a warm, well-lit environment.
- Spacing: Once the seedlings grow 2-3 inches tall, transplant them leaving 8-10 inches of space between each plant to allow maximum blooming space.
